Clean facilities really stood out , and I appreciated the picturesque field view from the back.

Noise levels were a significant issue. The thin walls allowed for hearing conversations and movements from neighboring rooms at all hours. Shared bathrooms had only two showers to accommodate many guests. The breakfast options were basic and could use some variety, lacking hot items and decent spreads that one might expect in a guesthouse setting.

The room was cheap and clean, but the walls were super thin, making it noisy.

The location of this great and cute hotel was amazing, nice to be in forest. Plus, it was so close to a museum, and Skrithuklaustur monastery. The stuff was exceptionally nice and welcoming.

Enjoyed it, I didn't want to say goodbye and I would recomand this hotel. It was fairly clean and the staff were very amiable and lovely friendly, beds were comfy. The location turned out to be perfectly comfortable and excellent, adjacent to a stream nearby, beautiful area surrounded by forest, and eastern Iceland...

The guesthouse is beautifully located and very clean, providing a cozy feeling. The sunrise view from the room was stunning, and the complimentary coffee and tea were a nice touch. It's worth mentioning the shared facilities can be a bit limited during peak hours.

Breakfast was limited to light options, like yogurt and fruit, which could be improved by offering hot items. It's suitable for a brief stay, especially for travelers on a budget.

The location was peaceful, just off the coast as well as Egilsstathir. The staff was caring and very friendly all the time. The room was well-equipped and it had a big bathroom.

Amazing and beautiful position in Egilsstadir.

The hotel was clean with very friendly and lovely friendly staff and gorgeous breakfast. Lovely and perfectly comfortable location near to a beautiful river, exceeded all expectations. What's more, it was just next door to beautiful area surrounded by forest, close to East fjords, and the nature. I stayed here for 1 day and would like to stay there on the next trip.

Eyjolfsstadir Guesthouse provides a spacious family room that comfortably accommodates four adults and includes a basin. The breakfast spread is generous and delicious, with a variety of items, though the dining area can be crowded during peak times. The guesthouse's location near Egilsstaðir is convenient, and the lovely field at the back adds a picturesque touch to the experience. Seeing the Aurora was a good bonus .

The view from the room was fine, overlooking a beautiful river. The breakfast spread was great with homemade bread, meats, and more. Plus, there's a cute playground outside. We felt cozy and at home here.

I found the walls very thin, hard to get a good night's sleep as I could hear other guests talking loudly. The shared bathrooms were a challenge given the limited number available, leading to some waiting time. The breakfast options were quite limited and could use a variety upgrade for a better experience.

Spacious room, clean showers, and a great breakfast, including delicious options accompanied by beautiful views of the surrounding fields, made our one-night stay particularly enjoyable.
